About the Role
This position is responsible for supporting all food distributions and for managing all nutrition related compliance data in Philadelphia Corporation For Aging (PCA) Client to Client Database. The person hired for the role must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments while giving attention to detail. The role also requires strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Performs responsible coordination of the Congregate Meals program on-site at KleinLife.
- Provides support and assistance with Home Delivered Meals program when needed.
- Responsible for Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) Client to Client Data Base for congregant meals.
- Maintains statistics and records pertaining to PCA nutrition compliance.
- Manages Congregate Meals and special event meal orders as well as program supplies with caterer.
- Collaborates with Active Adult Life program staff at KleinLife and attends staff meetings.
- Responsible for data entry of meal/nutrition program information, surveys for all sites.
- Assist with conducting intakes for the Congregate Meals/Home Delivered Meals programs and coordinates services.
- Maintains knowledge of a variety of nutritional resources in the community and provides information and referrals when requested.
- Provides support for volunteer recruitment, engagement and training.
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- ServSafe certified
- Experience working in a related field
- Understanding of PCTI care
- Familiarity with Kosher dietary customs is a plus
- Able to lift/move at least 50lbs
- Proficient in technology including Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of safety guidelines
