Assist the manager with all clerical duties with the operations of the shop
- Data entry of repair orders and services.
- Review and administer time cards and payroll to meet required deadlines.
- Order fuel and related paper work.
- Background checks for new hires.
- Type necessary memos and correspondence.
- Route inbound shop calls and messages.
- Maintain training, vendor, and misc. files.
- Route all inbound and out bound mail.
- Maintain shop employee schedules, training records, personnel records, etc.
- Miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned.
- Update and maintain all Shop required reports, including but not limited to, the 24Hr down report, the applied labor report, etc.
- Order all shop office supplies and shop forms.
- Maintain and update shop goals board and driver info stations daily.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 1 year office experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED
- High level of keyboard accuracy and speed, Good oral and written communication skills, self-starter, thorough and detail oriented, Ability to work independently, Good interpersonal skills, Good organizational skills, willing to learn new skill sets.
