We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional and efficient manner
- Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist with food preparation as needed
Skills:
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service principles
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and bill calculation
- Ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old or as per legal requirements for serving alcohol
