Brussels Bistro is hiring Servers to join our team in Laguna Beach. Servers are responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintaining guest satisfaction.

We are looking for motivated, productive, and enthusiastic Servers to work in fast- pace environment that want to give Guests a unique experience. We want someone that will deliver outstanding guest service in a genuine manner and a fast pace environment.
You would be leading the following responsibilities to the highest standards.
- Clean and ensure clean restaurant tables, chairs and area clean and set up per Restaurant Standards
- Present and describe restaurant specials and menu to the customers and help them select food and beverages as needed.
- Take orders carefully, answer any questions about the menu, make recommendations for combinations.
- Provide guest with outstanding service. Be proactive and present in a timely and respectful manner.
- Serve orders making sure they are accurate.
- Clean tables between dishes.
- Collaborate with all restaurant team to ensure best guest experience and Restaurant standards.
- Check guests for proper identification and serve alcohol beverages to guests in accordance to Federal, state, local and company regulations
- Present and serve beverages to guests.
- Accurately total, process, and collect payments from guests including using the POS system, handling Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Gift cards, and cash, making change and balance check.
- Respond professionally to challenging situations, as needed.

Qualifications
- 3 years of serving experience
- Knowledge of European cuisine a plus
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Genuine, Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude
- Must have great guest relations skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time

- French speaking is a plus but not required.
