Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current drink offerings and specials
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or catering preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in math for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for order processing and payment handling
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food handling safety guidelines
- Excellent hospitality skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume periods
