ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepares monthly financial reports and regulatory filings;
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Oversee monthly grant and contract billing;
- Prepare documentation for External Auditors;
- Act as back-up to other finance staff in regard to essential daily financial operations;
- Collects and analyzes payroll data for financial reports;
- Supervise Staff Accountant
- Performs other duties as requested.
Required Experience/Abilities/Competencies
- Ten years’ minimum experience in accounting
- Advanced knowledge of accounting practices and familiarity with General Accepted Accounting Principles;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Proven commitment to accuracy, integrity and confidentiality;
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Advance computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and financial automated systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
