About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Leader that has extensive relationships and a deep subject matter expertise of the Live Entertainment market. This includes concert/touring, production, theatrical and permanent installation business knowledge. The individual in this role will be working with HARMAN's Martin lighting dealers and Martin regional Sales Managers on the West Coast to drive sales growth with HARMAN's portfolio of professional Martin lighting products.
Your Team
This position will lead a team of two West Coast-focused Regional Sales Managers and collaborate on strategic accounts nationally.
What You Will Do
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by targeting professional entertainment lighting rental/production and theatrical installation companies as well as select end-users.
- Identify opportunities to take market share from HARMAN competitors.
- Formulate equipment packages and assist team on pricing to customers' needs and maintaining CM targets and profitability.
- Track opportunities via CRM and assist team in formulating sales forecasts.
- Work with other HARMAN teams to build new, and grow existing, customer relationships.
What You Need
- Minimum 8 years' experience in the professional lighting industry is a plus.
- Based on the West Coast (Los Angeles preferably)
- Experience managing a team of individuals.
- Experience working with lighting production houses, lighting touring companies and/or end users (lighting designers) within the live production and theatrical space.
- Knowledge of competitive brands of automated lighting, consoles, LED technology and creative video and processing. Hold a technical knowledge of production/theatrical lighting and touring methods and processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
What is Nice to Have
- 10+ years' experience in the professional lighting industry is plus.
- CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & industry standard software.
- Previous job history with a competitive equipment manufacturer and/or production company.
- Deep technical knowledge of lighting design, system theory and application.
- Ability to set up and program a moving light system
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 50% with regular visit throughout the Western U.S. Region.
- Remote home-based California, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, Neveda, Utah.
- Willing to be based in Northridge, CA HARMAN office preferred.

Salary Ranges:
USD 118,800 - USD 145,200
