Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leads Advanced Nuclear project execution, initially in licensing and site-specific design scope for a BWRX-300 plant.
- Communicates project requirements and specifications effectively to the project team.
- Partners with commercial team to define scope and negotiate effective project contracts.
- Plans activities across engineering functions to fulfill project requirements.
- Monitors project cost and schedule progress related to design efforts and takes actions to address variances.
- Manages project risks and scope changes while rapidly addressing other project issues.
- Ensures project quality and adherence to standards and requirements.
- Ensures customer invoicing is accurate and timely
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how their project integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
- Works to build consensus, influences a matrixed project team and stakeholders. Mentors project team as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
- Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects (with multi-disciplinary team and project).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Desired Characteristics:
- PMP Certification
- Nuclear power industry experience, especially in US new plant licensing process
- Familiarity with nuclear construction practices and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design
- Experience with commercial negotiations

- Ability to influence stakeholders and build trust with customers, managers, and team members

The salary range for this position is $126.1K - $155.1K. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
