Who we're looking for
Toyota's Greensboro, North Carolina Battery Plant Manufacturing Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analyst - Project Planning & Management (PPM).
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the new Project Planning & implementation both short & mid-term for TBMNC. This includes facilitating the local NC Obeya team, following-up on concerns & potential delays, and regularly meeting with additional stakeholders at our headquarters locations. Projects will vary between standard model related changes, new line improvements, multi-department Kaizens, and ad hoc.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and executing strategies for new model launch and other plant-wide project activity surrounding master schedule creation in a manner that is best for all of Toyota
- Coordinating new model launch activities between multiple divisions and multiple companies considering every phase of vehicle development through start of production
- Problem solving issues that have potential to impact successful project or launch execution. Leading coordination across all departments, TMNA and TMC to countermeasure, yokotening solutions to future projects to prevent recurrence
- Leading, facilitating and presenting all aspects of complex project execution, including developing and leading the visualization and reporting of key performance indicators, master schedules, project status, problems and countermeasures to senior levels of the organization
- Coordinating and managing Production Control cost and manpower planning, ensuring all department and company targets and objectives are met
- Supporting additional ad-hoc requests and projects which could include items such as make vs buy, budget and other company initiatives
- This role requires an ability to multi-task with many areas with conflicting deadlines and priorities
- This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and work with many individuals and entities at any given time
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience in a Production Control role in a manufacturing environment
- Project Leadership experience, including reporting out directly to Senior / Executive level leadership recommending company direction based on data analysis
- Technical problem-solving ability
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- KPI Management/Visualization experience
Added bonus if you have
- Toyota Supplier Management
- Battery Manufacturing experience
- 3 Pillar management / execution experience
- Understanding and execution of Gated Management & BRAD milestones
- Problem solving complete through panel (TBP)
- Understanding Toyota planning process, specifications (part drawing), and product development
