Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our team. As a Senior Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department. Your expertise in legal case management, contract review, and legal research will be essential in assisting attorneys with their caseloads.

Duties:

- Manage and organize legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and correspondence

- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases

- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions

- Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and briefs

- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness

- Interview clients and witnesses to gather information for cases

- Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is up to date

- Coordinate with external parties, such as opposing counsel and court personnel

- Utilize Camplegal or similar case management systems to organize and retrieve files

Qualifications:

- Bilingual requirements: Spanish

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal, with a focus on litigation support

- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and principles

- Proficient in conducting legal research using various resources

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Familiarity with phone etiquette in a professional setting

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
