Summary of Position
The Senior Marketing Manager - Paid Media is responsible for developing and executing best-in-class user acquisition & management of our marketing technology stack to drive the marketing funnel from brand awareness to conversion, demand generation via paid channels and new customer acquisition to retention across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
This individual will partner with external agencies & technology providers as well as cross functional teams including Brand/Product Marketing, Creative, CRM, Social Media, Business Intelligence & Technology, and review performance results across all channels and KPI's to continually optimize programs. They will define the strategy and roadmap to enhance the capabilities & effectiveness of customer data, technology, and resources to meet and exceed business goals. This individual will prioritize initiatives to create personalized and relevant customer experiences while maximizing traffic, conversion, and sales across all channels. They should possess a deep analytical background of skills to develop and continuously optimize world class customer engagement and content strategies.
This position's ideal candidate has experience working in the gaming industry, has a deep understanding & hands-on experience connecting business objectives, digital best practices leveraging performance marketing and advertising in innovative ways to engage and convert customers. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and working with cross-functional teams across the organization.
We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.
Job Responsibilities
Drive the development and execution of impactful, effective performance marketing programs by demonstrating a deep understanding of customer journeys, user experience, research, attribution, technology, and data analysis
Drive innovation in paid advertising and identify new channels of opportunity for incremental and/or exponential growth
As a marketing leader, continuously assess and measure performance impact. Analyze and evaluate digital marketing programs daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonally and constantly adjust to improve ROI. Constantly test and learn across all programs to drive customer engagement and personalized experiences
Develop strong partnerships and proactive forward thinking with internal tech/BI partners and relevant external vendors/agencies to ensure a best in class technology stack and capabilities
Provide frequent reports, analysis, and recommendations for business performance against KPI targets to internal stakeholders
Actively educate associates and executives about the opportunities and challenges for digital marketing, emerging social platforms, content creation, and media investments

Work Experience
- 8+ years of experience in a Paid Media / user acquisition marketing role
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- MBA a plus
Knowledge/Skills
Proven success developing Paid Media campaigns tracking and optimizing relevant KPIs such as conversion rates, click through rates, revenue, customer acquisition costs, and ROAS
Proven ability to oversee and optimize marketing technology, customer journey, multi-touch attribution, cross-channel ad sequencing, platform integration, and automated optimization
Familiarity with latest trends and industry developments in advertising including the latest in new privacy laws in a cookie-less future world, cohort modeling, collecting data pools, look-alike modeling etc.
Experience working with analytics and data science resources to measure marketing impact; i.e. familiarity with Tableau, Gamesight, Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, Appsflyer, CRM software etc.
Experience in agency management
Experience running Paid Media campaigns for console, PC, and mobile games across N. America, Latin America, and Europe with a keen acumen to handle international business and nuance
First-principles thinking around business performance drivers and overall competitive landscape
In-depth knowledge of online games market, games as a service model, and understanding of virtual goods
Outstanding ability to execute swiftly, is well organized and has high attention to detail

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)
The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $100,000 - $130,000 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
