SENIOR MANAGER CULTURE MARKETING

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION

Contribute strategy and initiative to connect the adidas brand to our target consumers through the use of global and local celebrities, media, and entertainment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Strategically contribute to global brand campaign by defining celebrity and influencer partners as well as managing relationships through negotiation process
  • Assist Senior Director in managing external agencies and global/local/regional Culture Marketing implementation
  • Oversee category specific Brand Marketing objectives for Culture Marketing
  • Oversee all product ordering efforts for Culture Marketing office: Includes forecasting, ordering and maintaining in-office product (Monthly stock orders, quarterly promotional forecasting, seasonal specialty product) across all brand segments. Must maintain current product knowledge and clear target market objectives
  • Strategically develop and manage film, television, and all related content brand integration from placement targeting specific brand initiatives as well as leverage marketing integration to drive key commercial opportunities either at own retail, wholesale partners, etc.
  • Establish and maintain relationships within the Entertainment and Influencer industry, i.e. stylists, editors, industry VIPs, costumers, producers, directors, and actors. Attend studio and film events and industry meetings for networking, when relevant.
  • Maintain global brand recognition and relevant brand visibility through strategic product placement, industry/consumer events and brand integration platforms in entertainment.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of Culture Marketing responsibilities within brand events, as well as Culture Marketing specific events. This includes concept development, event planning, visual merchandising, monitoring collateral design, managing staff, celebrity outreach and event wrap-up.
  • Act as Department lead in absence of Sr. Director - Supervise, train, mentor and oversee other Culture Marketing team members on logistical elements of the position, protocol of department and dynamics of the industry as necessary.

  • Unconventional business hours may be required. (evenings, weekends)
  • Capable and comfortable with global travel on a regular basis (min. 5 weeks per year)


REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Four year college or university degree in Marketing, advertising or related field
  • 8 to 10 years Marketing (Sports, Entertainment or Brand Marketing) with proven experience or background
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Proven track record of growth, development and success across various functions, areas, and activities
  • Direct working relationships with key markets/regions or relevant experience working in a focus adidas market.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently engage in extensive physical demands. The employee will frequently be required to sit, stand, bend, and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $110,660-,$166,000. Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, proficiency for the role.
  • We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The working location of this position is Los Angeles.
  • Though our teammates hail from all corners of the world, our working language is English.
