Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking experienced professionals to support the state of the art 300mm semiconductor manufacturing and development in Malta, New York. The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of process integration of semiconductor devices; monitoring performance and driving improvements related to technology yield, Cp/Cpk of inline and electrical parameters, defectivity, and more. The team is also responsible for the development of new and emerging technologies through definition/execution of experiments and technical data analysis. The ideal candidate can demonstrate a technical understanding of semiconductor principles and an understanding of a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve semiconductor technologies with quality, cost, and delivery all considered.
Job Description
- Develop product roadmap and differentiated value proposition
- Define product requirement documents (PRD) including technology features, enablement and design infrastructure, IP and reference designs, and assembly and packaging
- Manage the end-to-end product life cycle process including concept, definition, development, introduction, and end-of-life
- Develop product plans including value proposition, technology definition, business case, development strategy, go-to-market, and competitive analysis
- Identify target customers, maintain and strengthen external relationships
- Prioritize and manage the R&D investment portfolio to meet strategic objectives
- Drive revenue and margin growth by enhancing the product portfolio
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Other Responsibilities:
- Work with the end market and technology organizations to translate the market requirement document (MRD) into product requirement documents (PRD) and technology specifications.
- Work directly with strategic customers to define and execute on the product strategy
- Work with Sales on various aspects of customer support including product design wins
- Support product marketing organization for the creation of external marketing collateral
Required Qualifications:
- Direct experience in product and program management
- Direct experience working on advanced semiconductor technologies such as FinFET, FDSOI, or Gate-All-Around
- Master's or PhD Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Related Discipline
- 8-10 Years of Relevant Experience
- Travel - 10-20% of time
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal

- Ability to engage with senior level executives and technology experts
- Capable of creative and innovative thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Master's Degree in Business Administration
Expected Salary Range
$118,200.00 - $256,500.00
