- Manage the project intake process, which includes adding and terminating projects
- Provide insights concerning the overall Portfolio performance relative to plan and create presentations to highlight the top and bottom contributors along with notable trends; communicate bi-directionally to leadership along with the COE team to prioritize and address areas of opportunity
- Coordinate product roadmaps, requirements, and priorities with cross-functional partners including engineering, product management, sales and marketing, and field personnel
- Lead cross-functional, global team meetings to communicate new design & development program and annual planning objectives, providing leadership and direction focusing on goals, deliverables, and timelines
- Understand, evaluate, and leverage best practices from centers globally to improve program execution and develop materials to support standardization
- Modernize the way in which we do work in engineering, including deployment of communication and collaboration tools
- Manage the PM Competency content and expand to include Otis business-specific, cultural expectations and reporting content
- Support project/gate reviews, & other team/executive communications; and initiatives within the program management team to increase efficiencies, processes, and tools
- Engineering degree or other relevant experience
- 7+ years of program management experience required, 5+ with advanced degree
- Experience with hands-on program leadership from concept through deployment with multi-functional, global teams
- Exposure managing competing priorities, distributed teams, multi-disciplinary and cross-organizational stakeholders, and complex system trades
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Teams, Project, Word, Excel)
- Ability to effectively resolve issues and conflicts to ensure timely results
- Understanding of the software development process, using both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to deliver presentations to large organizations, as well as to executive and upper management teams
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Familiarity with Daptiv or similar program Portfolio Management tools such as Planview
- Ability to mentor, coach and effectively transfer expertise to others
- Understanding of talent development between technical and program roles
- Scrum/Agile certifications
