Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role The position will be remote based out of Austin, Scottsdale, Chicago (or remote) office and report directly to an Internal Audit Director of PayPal. The position will be responsible for supporting the Global Internal Audit Plan by assisting in the development and execution of project management capabilities and the efficient and consistent execution of audit and advisory projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of project management/External Audit/Internal Audit experience within a global and matrixed organization. Experience driving change and implementing large multi-year transformation projects within a risk management focused context is preferred.

- Excellent time and project management skills, including project scoping, planning, structure thinking, risk identification and resolution.
- Highly organized with experience in communicating strategic and tactical requirements necessary to drive and implement change.
- Excellent relationship and communication skills to build internal networks within the team and wider organization, and the ability to clearly articulate business risks and controls at the senior management level.
- Effective problem solving skills and attention to detail and proven success in ambiguous, changing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to see the big picture, analyze risks, and make recommendations for improvements to mitigate those risks.
- Strong ability to coordinate action and collaborate across a globally dispersed workforce.
- A passion for understanding the unique PayPal community, along with a passion for understanding the online payments business.
Your day to day
- Support the development of the project management office by applying best practice project management, process improvement and change management techniques necessary to ensure the efficient execution and utilization of audit resources.
- Execute and evolve Internal Audit’s project management capabilities and mechanisms to support transparency, efficiency, and consistency in project execution.
- Utilize experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI to create effective project reporting to display end-to-end views, actions needed and dependencies.
- Facilitate various cadences and executive reporting to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with all levels of management.
- Regularly identify and deliver on areas of improvement, research best practices for project management and offer guidance, recommendations, and solutions to the department for process changes.
- Execute a range of internal audit and advisory projects from the planning and execution through to reporting, when needed.
HIGHLY DESIRED:
- Project Management certifications/change management experience
- Experience with large, multi-year transformation projects
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor
- Big 4 or Financial Services Experience

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $99300 to $216040
