The Senior Product Manager role in GPS supports project/program change execution activities for key deliverables. The role has a broad remit covering aspects of project management, business analysis and planning for projects/programs of high complexity and scale from project initiation to closure. The role is responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of one or more projects/programs that require balancing of scope, schedule, budget, risks, stakeholders/team, outcomes and benefits.
As our Global Payment Solutions Senior Project Manager, US you will:
- Define and manage project scope, scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition that support diverse business goals and interests of multiple stakeholders
- Effective planning of project delivery constraints, optimizing the plan to maximize benefits and minimize risk. Developing the plan within constraints, considering the delivery approach, key milestones and dependencies within the plan, requirements and scope, effort and resources, budgets, and quality
- Ensure the baselined scope, requirements, benefits, schedule, and budget are managed as outlined in HSBC Change Framework. Identifying and intervening where there is slippage and variance from plan
- Oversee, track and escalate project risks/issues/dependencies, assessing impact to business outcome, taking action to minimize impact, actively challenging/removing obstacles
- Develop end to end project plans identifying and managing project dependencies and critical paths; tracking/reporting of project milestones and status
- Work closely with delivery partners on planning, design and estimating, bringing together delivery and business partner teams; actively managing dependencies between these teams and other projects
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $100,000.00 and $155,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
