Cedar Park Group is looking for a Senior Level IT Project Manager for an immediate opening.
Contract: 03/05/2024-06/30/2024
M-F 40hrs a week
Senior Level Technology Services Project Manager is responsible for planning, initiating, managing, and delivering IT projects, including large, major enterprise projects that are vital to WSDOT program delivery and impact various business units throughout the state.
The Senior Level Technology Services Project Manager will produce project management deliverables that are acceptable to the Ferries TSD Senior Program Manager, the WSDOT TSD Assistant Director of Ferries IT, the Office of the State Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and business unit customers. Deliverables must comply with all WSDOT Technology Services Division standards for quality.
Working with WSDOT Business Unit personnel, Subject Matter Experts and Project Teams, the Senior Level Technology Services Project Manager will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and submission of such Technology Services Project Management deliverables as:
Creation and maintenance of Project Charters.
Creation and maintenance of Business Requirements Documents.
Creation and maintenance of Requirements Matrixes.
Creation and maintenance of Project Management plans and schedules.
Creation and maintenance of the Project Staffing plans.
Creation and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures.
Requirements:
- Must have a current, valid, Project Management Professional certificate
issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI) - Senior Level of experience, (minimum of 7 years), as a Lead Project Manager in enterprise, large-scale, software application, implementation, and integration projects
- Senior Level, (minimum of 7 years), of direct, personal, experience in the creation and maintenance of IT project PMBOK documentation deliverables
- Senior Level of experience, (minimum of 7 years), in estimating IT project task durations, costs and levels of effort
- Senior Level of knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) standards and guidelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Senior PM Level of experience in Microsoft Office applications, MS
Project, including Visio. - Prior IT Project Management experience under oversight of WA State Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) IT standards, policies, and guidelines is preferred but not required
- Prior IT Project Management experience with WSDOT projects is preferred but not required
- Prior experience in the creation of State of Washington Request For Information (RFI), Request For Proposal (RFP), and Request For Quotation (RFQ) solicitations is preferred but not required
- Experience in implementing Cloud-hosted business process migration in Software as a Service (SaaS) implementations utilizing in Google, Amazon or Microsoft cloud hosting technologies
