JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Project Manager, IT Infrastructureto join our team. As an Senior Project Manager, IT Infrastructure, you will play a critical role in the success of our IT portfolio and business initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of IT infrastructure projects
- Ability to manage systems implementation projects
- Lead project teams and/or work-streams
- Utilize sound project management and SDLC methodologies
- Ability to work in a matrix managed environment where many resources are embedded part time on a particular team
- Develop and manage project intake process and resource capacity planning
- Escalate issues early and provide concise issue descriptions to upper-level management coupled with recommended paths for resolution
- Executive presence and good presentation skills
- Liaison between internal customer, IT and external contracted resources and/or firms
- Vendor management including selection and vendor contracting/negotiation
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Potential mentorship responsibility for IT staff as well as peers
- Responsible for indirect oversight of project team staff when assigned as project team leader
- Takes personal responsibility and leads by example. Demonstrates initiative and is committed to and enthusiastic about achieving company success. Makes timely and sound decisions and is willing to make tough choices when necessary. Consults others as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- BA/BS in Business Administration and/or Computer Science. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- Experience: 5+ years direct medium to large scale infrastructure project management experience
- Experience managing projects for business process improvement, establishing, and implementing best practices.
- Experience managing system implementation projects.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and SDLC.
- Ability to be a positive change agent and juggle competing priorities
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and assignments, as required
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communications skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Dependable and solid follow up with a good 'customer service' attitude
- Ability to be firm about deadlines
- A strong bias for action and a passionate customer focus
- Ability to work hours necessary to support delivery schedules
Preferred:
- PMP Project Management Professional certification preferred
- Past experience as independent consultant
- Healthcare, pharma, life sciences experience a plus
COMPENSATION RANGE: $124,320 – $170,940
Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Benefits available to Team Members include subsidized insurance for the Team Member and designated dependents (medical, vision, dental, life and disability), eligibility to participate in the AGC Biologics 401(k) plan (including a generous matching contribution from the company and immediate vesting), vacation, sick time, and parental leave.
Team Members are also eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus commensurate to the level of the role. The payout is based on both the company's performance and the Team Member's performance.
