As a staffing partner, we aim to connect talented individuals with a passion for shaping the future.

About the Role: In this role, you will play a crucial part in Retail Development (Design, Construction & Fit-out) projects, contributing to the Global Supply chain strategy. As the Senior Global Supply Manager, you will collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely completion of retail sites. Please note that this position does not involve car production sourcing.

Responsibilities:

  • Source Owner Furnished Items (OFI) through effective communication with vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct detailed financial and spending analyses to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Analyze market and supplier trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Create and manage RFQs and RFPs, reviewing and clarifying vendor quotations.
  • Lead strategic sourcing activities and provide procurement guidance on projects and initiatives.
  • Manage the entire RFP process, from initial due diligence to finalizing contract negotiations.
  • Organize, produce, and present RFP findings to management.
  • Assist in the development of project implementation plans and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain overall contractor relationships, acting as a single point of contact for commercial issues.
  • Qualify and manage design changes, future products, materials, and impacts in collaboration with the Design team.
  • Review project budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Manage contractor development, and project timelines, and provide solutions to delays or problems.
  • Own key supplier relationships and performance throughout the life cycle of company projects.
  • Travel 15-25% to visit suppliers for business and program reviews.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related technical field. Relevant work experience in procurement or supply chain discipline may be considered.
  • Experience in Retail Development Sourcing or Procurement is a must.
  • Strong negotiation skills and strategic business experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking, quantitative, and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand technical specifications, shop drawings, and architectural drawings.
  • Experience with bid processes (RFI, RFP, informal bids), vendor negotiation, contract writing, and implementation.
  • Commodity management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to function effectively under time constraints.
  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Smartsheet, ShareFile, and ERP systems (SAP).

Desired Skills:

  • Product launch experience beyond sourcing behind a desk.
  • Innovative ideas to optimize cost and schedule.
  • Passion for results, strategy, and hands-on execution.
  • Creative, calculated risk-taker with the ability to manage supply issues and resolve supplier disputes while maintaining relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving circumstances and changing organizational requirements.
  • Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and follow-through.
  • Commitment to learning and development for personal and professional growth.

Location and Compensation: The position is based in the corporate office in Newark, CA. The compensation range is competitive and reflective of various factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and other relevant business considerations.
