- Own and execute the supply chain – from collaborating with engineering on new products and developing strategies, to leading supplier selection and negotiation, to managing material qualification and flow into Tesla and third party facilities
- Negotiate long term deals and contracts, and drive the execution and implementation thereof by leading cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and developing creative solutions to complex issues
- Leverage your extensive supply chain experience in developing sourcing strategies based on market conditions, technology roadmaps, and changing geopolitical risks; managing supplier relationships; building detailed cost models and driving cost reductions; and collaborating with purchasing counterparts
- BS Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or evidence of technical experience and exceptional ability; Advanced degrees preferred (e.g. MS, PhD, or MBA) or equivalent
- Experience in battery materials, chemical or material mass production preferred OR 10+ years of work experience in a highly technical Global Supply Manager (GSM) role

$72,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
