Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project and operations teams to establish strong partnerships and identify suitable suppliers capable of meeting requirements and timelines.
- Engage with vendors and contractors to procure Owner Furnished Items (OFI), including reviewing bid packages, scope documents, and change management for various categories such as graphics, accessories, equipment, AV, FF&E, fixtures, door hardware, signage, millwork, lighting, etc.
- Develop RFQs and RFPs, evaluate vendor quotations, and formulate strategic sourcing recommendations considering cost, quality, lead-time, and technical factors.
- Oversee the entire RFP process for assigned projects, from initial due diligence to contract negotiations, ensuring the selection of the most suitable supplier based on quality, service, capacity, and price.
- Compile and present RFP findings to management.
- Assist in developing project implementation plans to ensure successful program rollout and compliance, monitoring projects throughout the contract lifecycle and conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Collaborate with the Design team, contractors, and project team to assess and manage design changes, future products, materials, and impacts.
- Review project budgets and construction drawings to ensure timely delivery of Owner Furnished Items (OFI).
- Manage key supplier relationships and performance throughout company projects' lifecycle, including occasional travel (15-25%) for business and program reviews.
- Fulfill other job-related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management may be considered.
- Experience in Retail Development Sourcing or Procurement is essential.
- Proficient negotiation skills and strategic business acumen.
- Strong analytical abilities, including critical thinking and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Familiarity with bid processes, contract negotiation, and commodity management.
- Ability to generate and evaluate reports, as well as manage programs effectively.
- Experience in product launch processes beyond sourcing.
- Innovative mindset focused on optimizing cost and schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Smartsheet, ShareFile, and ERP systems (such as SAP).
- Problem-solving skills and ability to maintain discretion with sensitive information.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
