ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

This role is a Senior Managar position within the Flash Supply Planning group, in the Production Planning Team. The manager is responsible for:

• Creating production plans and material requisition plans to help meet quarterly financial targets for assigned products
• Prepare for ramps of NPI products
• Coordinating with external teams to manage production, including other planning groups, procurement, IT, NPI, factory execution, engineering
• Communicating with business stakeholders
• Resolving gating items that hinder production from achieving financial targets
• Training and mentoring team members to assist in their growth and to help them execute the team's responsibilities

REQUIRED

• Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent STEM field, along with 4 years work experience in a Supply Chain role.
• Additional relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master's Degree.
• Experience or knowledge about the semiconductor industry, packaging and test processes, capacity planning, materials requisition planning, and/or general supply chain practices. 
• Experience operating Supply Chain Planning engines, such as I2, or similar platforms.

SKILLS

• Excellent oral/written communication skills are required for this position, as well as a sense of ownership and bias towards action.
• Experience with the following tools/systems desired:
  • Tableau
  • SAP
  • Agile

Compensation & Benefits Details

• An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
• The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.  This range may be modified in the future.
• You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.  Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
