What you will do:

The Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for the design and execution of programs that align employees to business objectives while driving employee engagement. This is a generalist role that has significant influence over all disciplines of Human Resources, with a focus on training and development initiatives that support current and future talent needs.

In this role you will:

  • Conduct needs analysis for current and future workforce training needs. Develops and facilitates comprehensive employee development programs, with a focus on leadership development.
  • Drives a quarterly performance review process and partners with leaders to ensure employee objectives align with company goals.
  • Oversees bi-annual employee survey process including distribution of survey, interpreting results and develops follow-up strategies and communications.
  • Implements and oversees a robust employee onboarding program.
  • Supports organizational compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements relating to human capital including EEO-1, affirmative action, federal and state postings, etc.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, resolving workplace issues in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Serves as a champion of the company's mission, vision, and values and ensures they are rooted in employee programs.
  • Assists with the development of Human Resources policies and processes that support the growth needs of the company.
  • Reads, understands, and complies with all workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What we need you to bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
  • 10+ years' experience in a Human Resources generalist role and 5+ years' experience in a leadership role
  • 5+ years' experience developing and facilitating training and development programs
  • High-level of integrity, trustworthiness, and the ability to maintain confidential information
  • Significant knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
  • Previous experience applying for and managing training grants
  • Previous experience implementing employee programs that scale for rapid growth
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate others
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Certification in DiSC, Insights, or MBTI

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, hear, stand, walk, reach, carry, push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and sit for extended amounts of time in front of a computer. The position requires clarity of vision, depth perception, hand and eye coordination, the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and the use of hands and fingers to type, sort, and handle. The employee may be required to perform heavy lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Compensation:

  • The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $170,000 - $200,000 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education
