Location: Brownsville, TX
Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and review of diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of chronic pain conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, neuropathic pain, and musculoskeletal pain.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating interventional procedures such as:
Trigger point injections
Facet joint injections
Spinal cord stimulation
Radiofrequency ablation
Intrathecal pumps
Platelet-rich plasma injections
- Perform interventional pain procedures utilizing fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance.
- Monitor and manage patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physiatrists, psychologists, and primary care physicians.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in interventional Pain management.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree is preferred.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or Anesthesiology with additional fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical practice with a focus on interventional Pain management.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Pain management principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Valid medical license in the state of Texas.
