What you will do:
- Under minimal supervision, assists with the calibration testing, set up, and repair of various controls, instruments, and gauges measuring all types in variables. These may include heat, light, voltage, amperage, weight, vacuum, magnetic resistance, or various content measurements.
- Properly handle out of tolerance (OOT) gaging, including gaging disposition and documentation.
- Communication within Stryker and with third party calibration vendors related to timing and status of gaging.
- Support calibration audits by pulling calibration certificates
- Maintain the calibration system and Calibration Change Requests on a daily basis
- Originate and/or nonconformance records within system, Trackwise
- Perform calibration of electrical/mechanical fixtures and/or gages independently
- Use intermediate metrology to complete calibration activities.
What you need:
- High School or GED, required; Associates or Bachelors degree, preferred
- 2+ years experience, required
- Ability to move 20#s, occasionally
