As an ADAS Calibration Technician, you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. You will gain confidence as a Calibration Technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Initial training is provided by ADAS Solutions, as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology.
Roles & Responsibilities Customer service focused, ability to develop relationships and deliver operational consistency Perform static and dynamic ADAS Calibrations on foreign, domestic and EV (electric) vehicles. Troubleshoot complex calibration repairs Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed Adequately explain ADAS calibration specifications and repair planning needs; to include collision repair center personnel, insurance adjusters, and direct customers Basic knowledge of how to remove and install vehicle parts Example: Bumper, trim panels, mirrors Complete pre and post scans with OE and/or aftermarket tools, communicate outcome effectively After training completion, must be able to complete static and dynamic calibrations per OE specifications. Responsible for ensuring tooling software updates are completed immediately. Accountable for assigned inventory (including vehicles, mobile devices, laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, other equipment provided). Participate in virtual (online) training sessions. Complete assigned training and certifications. Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core values. Maintain a well-organized work area. Qualifications, Education & Experience: 1-year automotive repair experience preferred but not required. Automotive repair experience preferred but not required, Trade school experience a plus ASE or I-CAR certifications a plus, Ability to learn and understand collision repair processes and terminology. Successfully complete ADAS Calibration Training Understanding of technology & basic software programs Ability to learn Aftermarket and OEM diagnostic scan tools and factory software. Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently. Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision. Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid drivers license and ability to pass MVR check. Ability to pass a background check. Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently. Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping. Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles.
