- Complete onsite and in-shop preventive maintenance and calibrations
- Accurately record time and document calibration activities on the work order
- Complete check-in and check-out at customer site
- Operate company vehicle and maintain Chauffer License
- Maintain vehicles, tools, standards, and equipment
- Perform overtime and weekend work as needed, with average of 45 hours per week
- Generate 4-8 service leads per month
- Set up and install out-of-box customer equipment
- Follow troubleshooting best practices and perform basic repairs
- Identify and add accurate part information to work order when used onsite
- Basic soldering and use of power tools and hand tools
- Application of metrology principles and theory to onsite and in-shop calibrations
- Identify and utilize correct standards to accomplish desired outcome
- Use and transport standards and equipment without causing damage
- Assist with uncertainty budgets and adherence to other customer specifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Metrology experience preferred
- Field Service Technician/Engineer experience preferred
- Prior mechanical, technical, or electrical experience required
- Basic welding and electrical wiring skills preferred
- Ability to travel regionally to project sites and customer locations, with a valid driver's license
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for 4+ hours per shift, walk 4+ miles per shift, stoop, and bend below knee-level 4+ times per hour
- Ability to lift and carry 50lb weights repetitively, with occasional lifts up to 100lbs
- Pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and maintain an active DOT medical card
