Based in the United States this Health Data & Informatics is dedicated to empowering public health organizations and healthcare providers through top-notch consulting services, strategic planning, and innovative software solutions and needs a Senior Business Systems Analyst (HL7) who will provide consulting services to our public health clients, focusing on health information systems .

Responsibilities include

• Business process analysis and redesign, including flowcharts.
• Requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
• Translating business requirements into specifications for developers
• Demonstrating software
• Software testing, including writing detailed bug reports and working closely with
• developers through fixes and retesting.
• Supporting user acceptance testing by clients, including doing intake on reported issues,
• attempting to reproduce, triaging issues, writing detailed bug reports, and working closely with software engineers through fixes and retesting, and closing the loop with clients.
• Utilizing a SQL tool to view database schemas and query database tables when
• necessary.
• Performing "train the trainer training for newly developed software.

Required Skills & Experience

Background: A Public Health or Healthcare IT background is ideal.
Focus: Specializing in immunization or disease domains for critical public health initiatives.
Expertise: Proven experience in business analysis, domain, project management, and SQL and experience with HL7, ICD-9, ICD-10, or CDC.
Technical Skills: Well-versed in using SQL and familiar with health-related technologies (HL7, CDC, ICD 9-10, LOINC).
