Salary- Best Point is seeking an individual that demonstrates a thorough understanding of internal financial policies and supports adherence to established procedures.
- Provide recommendations on expenditure and revenue requirements to better align the organization on strategies, objectives, and policies
- Directly supports Operations in preparing existing budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification for internal and external use.
- Provide operations with consistent visibility to current financial performance through weekly communications and reporting; provide timely reviews of the division’s financial status and progress in its various programs and activities related to operations performance.
- Escalate critical financial issues through appropriate SLT and operation channels to ensure monthly/quarterly performance goals are achieved; these include regular monthly updates to avoid budget surprises and provide action plans for closing budget gaps are tracked and managed.
- Support the Business Development team in pricing activities for new and existing customers to align and protect the overall financial integrity of the organization
- Collects/analyzes internal and external market data to drive down the organization’s overall cost
- Provides input to and support of strategic planning and analysis
- Performs financial and cash/treasury management, including cash forecasting to ensure adequate funds on hand for operational needs
- Leads budgeting and forecasting in close collaboration with operations and CFO
- Performs financial reporting and analysis, including reports provided to CFO, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors
- Identifies, guides and leads process improvement and operational excellence
- Oversees and ensures the accuracy of tuition and school fee invoicing
- Performs complex financial analysis by service line to optimize financial performance.
- Assists in the management of operational and capital budgets by analyzing and trending labor, supply, service and capital data.
- Collaborates with leaders to identify and communicate opportunities for improvements in the financial performance. Communicate results through reporting, presentations and meetings
- Maximizes resource optimization by validating and enhancing the charge capture process
- Identifies potential duplication of expenses and working with leadership and staff to minimize such duplication and strive for maximum value received
- Collaborates with leaders to develop ROIs for new service lines, equipment, renovations, etc.
- Assists in the management of operational and capital budgets by analyzing and trending labor, supply, service and capital data.
