Job Description:
Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts test and analyze the company's software product applications to ensure high quality and eliminate programing issues. They are responsible for overseeing the correct functioning of the applications and ensuring new feature and company standard requirements are met before product release. QA Analysts work directly with Product Management, Development Managers/Team Leads, and Software Engineers to formulate and complete testing plans and scripts, and test software applications. As an Automated Tester, the individual will produce automated scripts and conduct automated testing, further ensuring the quality of the released product and helping to drive overall process efficiency. As a Team Lead, the individual will be responsible for providing guidance on QA processes, methodologies, and testing to other team members to ensure deliverables are met by the team. Additionally, QA Analysts assist Customer Care Agents and Implementation Specialists in trouble-shooting complex functionality issues at customer sites.
Responsibilities
• Test, analyze for defects, and support equivant browser-based products.
• Deliver production quality software on time and within budget.
• Design detailed, comprehensive test approaches and produce test plans, test scripts, and high-quality release documentation.
• Participate in stakeholder/owner / development reviews.
• Proactively seek ways to improve user experience, application functionality, and testing practices and standards in coordination with the Development Team.
• Provide guidance and leadership to other team members in their daily activities and QA duties.
• Use internal systems and procedures to track and report work progress and time spent on task.
• Compose automated testing scripts and maintenance of scripts to be used release to release to ensure product functionality.
• Any other reasonable or necessary duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing of complex software applications and object-oriented and multi-tiered systems.
• Experience with automated test scripting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with structured query language (SQL).
• Excellent collaboration and verbal/written communication skills.
Preferences
• Capability of working on large-scale software projects and/or multiple product lines simultaneously.
• Experience testing web applications and mobile applications.
• Experience with Katalon Studio or similar automated testing tools.
• Experience with TestRail or similar testing tools.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Aha! or similar software development tracking software.
• Familiarity with Court and Judicial Systems.
