About the Role
We're looking for someone to lead our sales + team building efforts in the US. The right candidate has been trained well, has multiple years of consistent quota performance (top 10% org-wide results), and is hungry to help accelerate 5X's growth. We are looking for someone to roll up their sleeves and contribute as an IC and also on scaling up the team when the timing is right.
You'll be closely partnered with the 5X GTM team (founders, marketing, solutions, CS) to close opportunities sourced from marketing and drive pipeline in top prospect accounts. We are seeking someone who loves to close, work complex deals, build champions, and is equally maniacal about consistent prospecting.
5X is transitioning from founder runs sales to building out a sales function. We're at 1m+ ARR at the moment and we're looking to 3X in the next year.
We are looking for a fast learning, high motor, highly organized future CRO or CEO. You should strive to be a GTM nerd, consume lots of information on sales, marketing, and operations at high growth data companies.
You'll partner with our CEO, Sales, and Marketing teams to:
- Qualify interest from inbound prospects and determine where to invest your time to maximize revenue
- Partner with Outbound team to build a multi-channel outbound strategy (calls, emails, linkedin, video, events, connections) - with a high-volume of quality activity
- Develop a strategy to break into top accounts, form a PoV, and consistently build pipeline
- Build champions, enable buyers, conduct discovery, run POCs and data tests, build and execute demos, and close deals.
