JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant handles a wide variety of complex and confidential situations and resolves conflicts involving the clerical and administrative function of the office. They are responsible for confidential and time sensitive material; preparing routine and advanced correspondence including publications, letters, memoranda, and reports; and they will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate/plan/coordinate community events and/or AMR's participation in events including job fairs, health fairs, safety fairs, displays and exhibits;
- Assist with community relations, PR and social media needs including maintaining the local FB page with AMR Social;
- Schedule and deliver presentations;
- Promote community education events externally and internally and maintain community events calendar and maintain accurate records of events;
- Develop and implement processes that timely & accurately publish/distributes AMR's internal & external publications in all media forms. Assures that the quality of such media is maintained at a level that meets the goals of external marketing and internal community relations;
- Be a resource for department heads in the development and implementation of new business lines, being willing to offer suggestions and assistance with marketing research, publication development, product development and database maintenance;
- Perform various secretarial, clerical, and administrative duties with specialized attention to the fact that the information, decisions, and communication involved may be sensitive or confidential;
- Writes letters and correspondence as needed and maintain files on correspondence;
- Conduct interviews, candidate outreach, answer phone calls, keep in regular contact with new hires
- Set up orientations and manage onboarding tasks of new hires Keep operations and recruiting up to date with hiring information
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate Degree or equivalent in experience; Computer skills to ensure proficiency in MS Word, MS Publisher, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
ABILITIES
- Ability to make independent decisions within the leadership framework as defined by the report structure;
- Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality;
- General office equipment skills needed (fax, copy, multi-line phone, etc.)
