Job Description
Shifflett & Philips is looking for a senior bookkeeper who is significantly experienced in QuickBooks and can provide financial support to a variety of clients in different industries. The ideal candidate will be able to manage monthly activity, prepare bank reconciliations, and provide financial statement preparation and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting
*Process corporate bank account reviews and reconciliations
*Prepare monthly financial statements
*EOM and YE close routine
*Review payroll tax payments and filings
*Use and implement QuickBooks for clients (QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online)
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
*Preferred associate accounting degree or equivalent experience
*Experience working with a CPA firm is a plus
*Professional presentation and conduct is required
*Must be responsible and self-managed, have excellent follow-up and tracking skills and be detail-oriented
*Minimum 4 years’ experience in QuickBooks is required
*Able to work in-office and travel to client sites
