Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing various financial functions critical to the company's success. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. As a senior member of the finance team, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights into financial performance, support decision-making processes, and drive strategic initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Prepare documentation for External Auditors
• Coordinate various audits and assist Controller in completing annual ICR (Cost Report)
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Monthly and year end closing of balance sheet reconciliations, closing of accounts payable, prepaid expenses and accruals, etc.:
• Processing of various banking transactions, maintenance of banking portal access requests, completion of various bank reconciliations
• Maintenance of financial accounting system (Insights)
• Acct. Receivables - Non-patient related billings of services and goods sold/utilized by related parties and non-related third parties
• Assistance with CMC annual informational returns and tax returns
• Analyze financial statements and Assist Controller on assimilation of consolidated financial statements
• Assist Controller in directing/managing staff accountants and Accounts Payable team
• Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an accounting/business-related field
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience
• Minimum of three years of healthcare experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA Preferred

Travel Requirements:

• Remote position with 20% travel as needed
