Because of our continued growth, our Finance department is in need of a Senior Accountant!
The Senior Accountant will support the Accounting department and report directly to the CFO. The Senior Accountant is responsible for adhering to the company's financial procedures, keeping accurate records and statements in compliance with the most up to date regulations, as well as other accounting projects as assigned. This role is full-time and on-site.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledger, post journal entries and perform month-end close activities.
Perform the fixed asset processing and ensure accurate reporting of depreciation.
Assist with preparation of financial reports.
Manage cash/bank activity and prepare cash flow analysis.
Perform reconciliations of accounts.
Development of annual budgets and forecasting.
Sales tax filing and compliance.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Facilitate annual audits, including investigating and resolving audit findings.
Assist with ERP implementation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Cost Accounting.

Acute attention to detail and proven ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with the highest level of integrity.
Strong MS Excel skills are required.
Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Education & Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, MBA or CPA a plus
Minimum 7 years of experience, 2 years of which must be in a Manufacturing facility. Preferences: Certified Management Accountant; Master of Finance, Managerial Accounting; Bachelor of Science in any field
