Description of the Role
We are searching for a SEM and SMM Advertising Manager who is hard-working, technologically inclined, excited by a fast-paced environment, and motivated to help our company continue to grow at a rapid pace.
You must have at least two years’ experience working on pay-per-click advertising with Google SEM and Facebook SMM. If you do not have the requisite experience, your application will not be considered.
One of our clients is in the adult novelty product category. You will need to be comfortable working with the adult ecommerce industry.
You’ll also have the opportunity to assist with Nectar’s own marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Devising advertising strategies for clients on platforms such as Google Adwords (including Performance Max), Google Search, Google Merchant Center, Google Shopping, Facebook Advertising, and display/programmatic advertising networks.
- Creating, managing, and optimizing campaigns for best results for our agency’s clients.
- Directing or assisting with paid advertising on-boarding for clients.
- Conducting bi-weekly status calls with paid advertising clients.
- Attending weekly company and team meetings.
- Managing virtual assistants (remote workers) who will perform supportive tasks for paid advertising projects.
- Developing written standard operating procedures to delegate tasks to the virtual assistants
- Creating and updating weekly and monthly reports, and providing campaign recaps.
- Working with team members, clients, or an ad agency to establish and meet project goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Managing paid advertising projects within necessary project management tools.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience creating, managing, and optimizing pay-per-click advertising campaigns.
- A deep understanding of pay-per-click advertising methods and strategy along with logical expressions, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and display/programmatic ads.
- Google Ads certification preferred.
- Must be able to think outside the box when searching for creative solutions to increase traffic.
- Understands and knows how to execute A/B testing and experiment methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and possesses professionalism with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently while following overall management strategy.
- Tech savvy: flexibility and eagerness to identify, learn, and use new and changing technologies within the SEM spaces and applicable technologies.
- Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities
- Ability to manage multiple paid advertising campaigns/projects simultaneously.
- This is a fully remote position. Thus, you will need a dependable internet connection and computer with separate workspace.
- Must be able to work EST hours (8am - 5pm or 9am -6pm).
- Must be comfortable working with adult products.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience
You are also eligible for an end-of-year performance bonus up to 10% of your salary based on your performance and the companies’ performance.
You will receive a minimum of one compensation review per 12 months.
This is a salaried remote position at 40 hours per week.

Nectar provides a 401k plan with an employer match component after 60 days.
Nectar provides 15 days of prorated PTO in your first year after your 60th day of employment; 15 full days of PTO in your first full year; and 20 days of PTO in your second full year of employment.
Nectar is closed for 8 days per year, which includes 7 Federal holidays and Black Friday. We also offer 2 flex holidays that can be used for Presidents Day, Juneteenth, Good Friday, Patriot Day or Columbus Day.
Nectar provides each team member with a $200 annual office stipend after 60 days of employment
Nectar provides summer Fridays (sign off at 2:30 p.m. local time) between Memorial Day and Labor Day)
