Job Description:
Sanford Federal Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Instructor Pilot (IP) to join our team. As an Instructor Pilot, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive flight instruction to military aviators at the company level or higher. Your expertise will contribute to the development and training of future aviators, ensuring their proficiency and readiness for mission success.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality flight instruction to military aviators in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance pilots' skills and knowledge in specific aircraft missions, designs, and series.
- Evaluate pilots' performance during flight training exercises and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other instructors and aviation professionals to continuously improve training methodologies and course materials.
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in aviation instruction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an aviator, preferably at the military company level or higher.
- Demonstrated experience as a military instructor currently training USAACE flight students full-time within the last 60 days (but having less than 250 Instructor hours).
- Possess a minimum of 1,000 pilot-in-command hours (Mission/Design) and 250 IP hours (Mission/Design/Series) in the applicable aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft operations, systems, and mission profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Current and valid pilot's license and any other required certifications.
