The Zippertubing Company, located in Chandler, AZ, is looking for a Search Engine Marketing Specialist to join their in-house Marketing Team. The role involves working collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals to design, build, and manage paid search advertising campaigns across multiple divisions. As an SEM Specialist, you will need to focus on keyword targeting and bidding, audience targeting customization, ad copywriting, and design, creating offers, and designing landing pages - all while delivering high-quality work tailored to the company's goals.
This role also involves organic search analysis, discovery, execution, and performance reporting of search engine optimization strategy and deliverables. You will be required to analyze information to anticipate upcoming trends and present your independent research results through visual aids such as infographics, charts, and graphs. Additionally, you will conduct performance tests, collect and analyze data, and identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
As an SEM Specialist, you will also be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives, and campaigns. You will manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile discrepancies.
Besides the above responsibilities, you will need to immerse yourself in the company's products and marketing efforts, examining potential new markets and sales opportunities. You will collaborate with other departments to contribute input for research skills and provide a unique perspective on the most effective methods of promotions.
This role also involves managing social media channels to identify opportunities for improvement and creating new content for postings using creativity and imagination. As an SEM specialist, you will be responsible for creating or assisting with videos and photos that promote the company and its products. You will also ensure accurate and timely data entry into Word, Excel, and the company CRM. Additionally, you will compile, input, and track advertising costs. In regards to competitors, you will gather and analyze data on pricing, sales, marketing tactics, and distribution methods and present findings to upper management or executive leadership. You may also train marketing department members on improving areas that could benefit the company or another team member in their absence.

The SEM role must demonstrate cognitive ability to follow directions and routines, work independently with appropriate judgment, exhibit spatial awareness, read words and numbers, concentrate, memorize, and recall, identify logical connections, and determine the sequence of response and process up to 2-3 steps ahead. Ability to attend work on a regular, predictable, and consistent basis to commute to and from work safely and arrive at work on time to either location. This position requires regular servicing of both the Tempe and Chandler divisions. Time spent traveling between locations is compensable at your regular rate of pay. Mileage reimbursement is not available for travel between locations for regular servicing.

- Manage all aspects of Google Ad campaigns. Create and optimize ad campaigns and paid search landing pages.
- Use Google Ads to drive a variety of online marketing campaigns and meet company goals.
- Conduct extensive keyword research and keyword sorting to discover and relay the best opportunities for content optimization.
- Add new products, complete with their details, to the Amazon website utilizing content, headlines, advantages, and features, as well as modify existing items for optimal ROI.
- Analyze results for ways of maximizing sales and increasing market penetration of existing items.
- Analyze information to anticipate upcoming trends and determine keyword targeting.
- Present performance and research results through visual aids such as infographics, charts, and graphs.
- Measure the effectiveness of promotional efforts; gather information regarding market dynamics, competitors, and customers.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- 3+ years' experience
- Self-motivated, self-starter, and ability to independently execute with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, to internal and external parties.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with videos/photos for campaigns and presentations.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Microsoft Advertising
- Experience with Shopify, Adobe Creative Suite, Amazon Seller Central, photography, and video editing is preferred but not required.
