Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for administering daily pricing and rate sheets for residential products and intraday price changes for any products designated to off-Balance Sheet Investors.
- Prints and reviews loan documents for mailing (shipping and delivering) to investors.
- Manage the maintenance of the pricing engine within the LOS to ensure appropriate base pricing, and product parameters consistent with the Bank’s objectives or with Investors’ guidelines and LLPA's pricing parameters, as applicable.
- Ensure daily pricing and margins are accurate and consistent with the Banks’ profitability objectives.
- Oversight of the Lock Desk includes processing incoming locks, lock extensions, renegotiations, and Change of Circumstance scenarios.
- Work with Sales as the primary point of contact to ensure a positive borrower experience while managing profitability objectives.
- Ensure loans designated to Investors are locked and managed with the appropriate portal: Monitor Investor and Bank pipelines for lock expiration and timing of funding.
- Assist is Best Efforts trading and Mandatory trading, as appropriate.
- Assist in bidding, trading, and managing purchased loan transactions.
- Responsible for coordinating analytical reporting of all consumer asset purchases and sales.
- Administer counterparty/Investor monitoring in compliance with the Bank’s risk policy.
- Assist in the preparation of reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for pricing, management of Secondary Marketing sale execution, margin management, and the lock desk program.
- Other duties as assigned or expanded due to growth.
- 5-7 years in banking or mortgage banking with relevant Secondary Marketing experience.
- Experience with Mortgage Cadence or similar pricing tool/LOS strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with capital markets transactions and process flows.
- Familiarity and experience with Agency and Non-Agency pricing highly preferred.
- Experience working with market participants in assisting transactional requirements.
- Excellent documentation and procedural writing skills desired.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- Ability to develop complex Excel models to manage and report on activity.
- Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field Preferred
