About the Opportunity

Flippa is on the hunt for a fearless Global SDR Sales Manager ready to conquer new frontiers. The Global SDR Sales Manager will report directly to our VP of Sales. With our Series A capital raise led by OneVentures and supported by some of Australia’s best entrepreneurs we are accelerating our growth and scaling our platform.  

 

Flippa, the leading marketplace for buying and selling online businesses, is seeking a talented SDR Global Sales Manager  to join our rapidly growing organization. This role will be responsible for leading, developing, and expanding our global team of 10-12 SDRs and BDRs. This is a unique opportunity to build a winning sales culture and grow our enterprise organization while working at the intersection of business and technology.

 

This position will be based in Austin, TX with a hybrid schedule.

As the SDR Global Sales Manager at Flippa, you’ll get to -  

  • Command, manage, and inspire a team of 8-10 SDRs who are responsible for both inbound and outbound sales. 
  • Ensure team success through high-impact coaching, regular result broadcasts, and innovative incentives, setting the bar for excellence.
  • Take charge of hiring and training new team members, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel as top performers.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture by fostering continuous motivation, providing mentorship, and creating professional development opportunities for your team.
  • Embody a lead-from-the-front approach with 30% of your role dedicated to direct selling, positioning yourself at the forefront of sales activities.
  • Devote 70% of your time to coaching, leadership, and operational enhancements, reinforcing a growth-centric ethos that propels the organization forward.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports on sales activity, call metrics, and forecasts to leadership, offering data-driven insights crucial for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, partnerships, sales, merchant success, and enablement teams, ensuring alignment for collective success on a global scale.
  • Develop and execute plans to drive net new merchant acquisition growth, strategically positioning Flippa as the go-to platform.
  • Regularly experiment with the SDR motion, uncovering new strategies and tactics to unlock growth and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Focus on improving the conversion of leads to listings while winning new prospects through outbound efforts that showcase strategic brilliance.
  • Actively attract business owners to the Flippa platform, encouraging them to list their businesses for sale in a competitive and dynamic marketplace.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that transcend the standard, enabling you to inspire, motivate, and lead your team with a magnetic force.
  • Adept at reporting and data analysis, wielding insights like a weapon to inform strategic decisions and propel your team toward victory.
  • Prefer working in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, where your self-starting, independent attitude is not just an asset but a prerequisite for success.
  • Strong collaboration skills, showcased through a proven track record of working effectively with diverse teams. Your ability to unify and amplify diverse global talents is the catalyst for collective triumph.
