Eaton Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager Agilist who is well-versed in multiple Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, to join our Portfolio Management Product team with Information Technology. This position will be based in Raleigh, NC; Beachwood, OH; Moon TWP, PA; Menomonee Falls, WI, Houston, TX or Galesburg, MI. The position is eligible for a hybrid work setup.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $120,075 - $176,110 a year.

What you’ll do:
As an Agilist, this candidate is well-versed in various Agile frameworks and understands how to apply these frameworks effectively in different project environments. When applying the Scrum framework, this position serves as the Product Scrum Master and ensures that teams follow Agile practices and Scrum values, working to increase team efficiency, provide motivation and guidance for continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox. The Scrum Master will work to eliminate cross-VS impediments.
The Scrum Master works directly with Product Owners, engineers and other product team members to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, help create user stories, manage the product backlog, and assist with value-based prioritization.
- Accountable for all Agile ceremonies of a Scrum team including planning, review, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Drive a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
- Trains, mentors, and supports Scrum teams and others within the enterprise to follow and deeply understand Agile values, principles, and practices
- Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
- Assists the Product Owner with roadmapping, epic creation, decomposition and multi-sprint planning
- Leads the estimation and prioritization of user stories
- Leads the capacity and demand planning for the product team
- Collect, track, and report Agile metrics on performance and progress
- Support the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities
- Support the resolution of impediments and escalate where required
- Coordinate with other Agile teams to ensure alignment and management of dependencies including participation in Scrum of Scrums or related ceremonies where applicable
- Ensures a psychologically safe environment for the team to raise and resolve issues
- Communicates risks, status and general updates to stakeholders
- Manage one or more Scrum teams across multiple geographies
- Improve the Agile maturity of the team on a continuous basis
- Support the Product Owner in cost tracking for scrum projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 7 years of experience working on an Agile team or leading technology projects
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work locations listed will be considered. Active-duty military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Scrum Master certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or SAFe release train engineer
- Experience leading highly complex projects, programs, and teams
- Experience with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
- Experience with complex Stakeholder Management and Communication Management practices
Skills:
- Strong understanding of product management and modern product delivery processes
- Strong experience working with Agile, including Scrum or Kanban, and how to practice Agile at scale
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
- Experience with Demand Management and Capacity Planning
- Patience and empathy working with mentees and people new to Agile
- Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interact effectively with senior leadership
- Excellent listening skills with the intention of understanding
- Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams
- Expertise with Agile software tools and producing Agile artifacts
