Reports to: Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
Overview:
Performs installations and configurations of computer systems. Sets up and administers user accounts. Performs maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting across all LDX Solutions locations.
NOTE: This position is NOT a remote position and is based out of our Kennesaw, GA. Office. (Some Hybrid Work)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide support on Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Enterprise Cloud Applications and Autodesk products (Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault etc.) systems.
- Administer help desk activities including user account administration, applications, mobile devices, and workstations.
- Install and configure software and hardware.
- Perform administrative duties on all company infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Maintain enterprise systems backups for all business-critical data systems.
- Maintain and continually develop Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity and topology, emphasizing dependability, speed, and fault tolerance between company locations.
- Sustain development of remote access/control systems environments, allowing for efficient management access for remote staff.
- Plan and oversee upgrades on hardware and software systems as required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Microsoft Windows10, 11, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, 2022, Active Directory, M365 and Azure AD.
- Strong networking experience/background including routers, switches, VLAN management, Wi-Fi, etc.
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience desired.
- Cybersecurity (SentinelOne EDR, DUO, Zero Trust, PAM, IAM).
- Mimecast Administration.
- Workstation patching, imaging, and deployment.
- Microsoft Intune.
- VMware administration.
- Backups and disaster recovery. (Druva, Veeam)
Qualifications:
- Computer Science/Engineering 4-year degree or comparable experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 4 years of computer experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience in Cloud, on-premises, and Hybrid Infrastructure.
- Technical certifications (Network+, Azure Fundamentals, A+, Security+)
Working Conditions:
- Able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to move around LDX Solutions facilities and provide desktop support.
- Schedule Monday through Friday with possible evening and weekend work as needed.
Travel: Up to 20%, Occasional overnight travel to LDX locations for on-site hardware and software support.
