- Proven laboratory and analytical skills including experience with immunoassay techniques, particularly flow cytometry
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment to deliver on time-sensitive objectives
- An aptitude for independent critical thinking, process optimization, and assay development/validation
This role is based at our Hayward, CA location. The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this position is $125,000 - $165,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this posted position. - Development and validation of new assays as molecules move towards first in human (FIH) studies
- Handling of biological samples and familiarity with sample processing procedures, including isolation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells, serum and plasma, or nucleic acids from patient blood samples
- Working with a team of PD scientists and research associates to ensure that all clinical samples are received and processed in a timely manner to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality data
- Participating in clinical sample database management, including accessioning and record-keeping pertaining to patient samples (advanced opportunities in database management and automation of laboratory processes available depending on aptitude and interest)
- Experiment design and planning with appropriate input and oversight from manager/leadership with independent analysis of experimental data
