Job Description
Be the culinary maestro orchestrating a symphony of flavors and creativity, setting the culinary tone for our establishment. With your passion for gastronomy and innovative spirit, you'll lead our kitchen brigade to new heights, crafting exquisite dishes that tantalize the palate and leave a lasting impression on our guests.
- Formal culinary education from a recognized culinary school or institution, with a degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in culinary roles, with several years of experience in various kitchen positions, demonstrating expertise in menu development, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to lead and mentor kitchen staff, delegate tasks effectively, and create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and creativity.
- Creative flair and innovation in culinary techniques, menu design, and food presentation, with the ability to continuously introduce new and exciting dishes that appeal to guests and keep menus fresh and exciting.
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with health codes and standards to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
The starting salary range for this position is $130,000 - $155,000. This is the pay range for this position that Wildflower Farms reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
Qualifications
- Culinary Certificate or Degree is preferred.
- Five years’ operating experience as an Executive or Executive Sous Chef in establishments with similar scope and scale.
- Experience in maintaining state and federal health and safety regulations
- Experience in completing administrative tasks, including reporting, budgeting, project management, etc.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
