We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of appointments and procedures in our Home Health Agency office. This is a vital role that ensures efficient and smooth operations within our Agency.
```Duties```
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for Home Health Agency
- Manage the appointment calendar and ensure optimal scheduling efficiency
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
- Collaborate with providers to ensure proper allocation of time for each procedure
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic management system
- Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes
- Handle patient inquiries regarding scheduling, home visit appointment, and general information
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the Home Health Agency office operations
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a Home Health Agency receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in using scheduling systems, such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to Nursing, PT and OT procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Familiarity with basic medical billing and insurance processes is a plus
