SalaryWe are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator who will collaborate with the patients and administrative staff members. Your primary role is to provide a great patient experience through attention to detail and the accuracy of information. Duties:
- Schedule surgeries and procedures for patients
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth scheduling process
- Obtain necessary patient information and Dental records for scheduling purposes
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorization for procedures
- Communicate with patients regarding their scheduled surgeries, including pre-operative instructions and any necessary preparations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records in electronic systems - Provide administrative support to the surgical department as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a Dental office or medical office preferred
- Familiarity with Dental scheduling software, is a plus
- Knowledge of Dental terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Education/ Experience
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
