How you make a difference:
Key Responsibilities:
- Process advance scheduling requests to fill shift deficits. Verifies scheduling changes as a result of organizational needs.
- Review and approve staffing ratios to ensure compliance with staffing guidelines and minimize overtime expense.
- Manage scheduling requests, approve staffing ratios, and coordinate with human resources for onboarding, training, orientation, and scheduling of newly hired employees.
- Develop and implement scheduling strategies and solutions, including process reviews, to address scheduling services throughout departments, in collaboration with internal and external parties.
- Create, maintain, and organize employee scheduling data in HRIS systems, and retrieve and analyze scheduling data for education, research, and statistical reporting purposes.
- Prepare and submit scheduling reports, maintain accurate records, files, and database(s), and assist Human Resources staff with various reports as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- HSD or equivalent required.
- Minimum of (2) two years’ experience in scheduling and compliance.
- Coordinating of administrative duties and tasks as related to scheduling.
- Experience in healthcare setting required.
- Successful candidates will have prior experience working in a union environment.
