Scheduling Coordinator

Job Overview:

As a Homecare Scheduling Coordinator you will be responsible for scheduling client visits with caregivers, documenting communication between clients and caregivers, and ensuring office compliance with client-related documentation requirements are met. You will report to the Client Care Manager.

Duties:

• Create and maintain client service schedules as provided by the plan of care.
• Communicating with family members, clients and case managers to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Schedule shifts according to client preferences and Caregiver availability.
• Work with Caregivers to fill open, last minute, and emergency shifts.
• Handle requests and questions from Caregivers before, during or after shifts.
• Enter scheduling data into Company Management System/Axis Care
• Handle requests and questions from Caregivers before, during or after shifts.
• Answers phones in a timely manner using good customer service skills and judgement in the distribution of messages.
• Effectively manage scheduling changes and adjustments.
• Effectively match Caregivers and clients.
• Manage client information and updates.
• Manage Call-Offs and notify Caregivers/.Clients.
• Weekday and Weekend On Call rotation including providing a written report documenting all pertinent calls.
• Maintain proficiency with computer systems.
• Abide by all policies and procedures set forth by the Company.
• Ensure protection of confidential information that is stored, handled, or maintained by following Company policies and procedures related to confidentiality and/or HIPAA regulations.
• Discussing service issues with consumers and assisting when able and escalating all other services issues to the manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
