Marketing Internship Opportunity at Golden R, Inc.

Golden R, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of sales and marketing while working alongside seasoned professionals in the field.

Responsibilities:

1. Build a Comprehensive Database:
2. Develop and maintain a detailed database of targeted businesses and community organizations.
3. Collaborative Ideation:
4. Engage in brainstorming sessions with the team to generate innovative ideas, explore new directions, and utilize cutting-edge tools for marketing and Communications.
5. Reporting and Communication:
6. Prepare weekly reports and maintain regular communication with the supervisor to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
7. Social Media Management:
8. Update and manage the social media presence for multiple clients, including Golden R and San Francisco Auto Body & Frame Repair, through daily monitoring, posting, scheduling, and reporting on Facebook and Instagram updates.
9. Content Creation:
10. Assist in planning, writing, and managing e-blasts and e-newsletters.
11. Draft, distribute, and pitch news releases, media alerts, and other compelling stories.
12. Creative Design:
13. Manage editorial and event calendars.
14. Design eye-catching flyers, graphics, evites, and other marketing materials.
15. Website Maintenance:
16. Regularly update and maintain the organization's website to ensure relevant and up-to-date content.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of tools and platforms in the social media space.
• Currently pursuing or completed a college degree (junior level and up) in a related field such as English, Marketing/Communications, Advertising, or Public Relations.
• Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of public relations and marketing principles.
• Computer literate with proficiency in word processing, PowerPoint, and Excel. Adobe InDesign and Photoshop skills are highly desired.
• Knowledge of HTML, website content management, and graphic design is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Professional communication ability with press and community contacts.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and respect for differences.
• Dedication to continuous improvement of service quality and alignment with the organization's mission.
