THE POSITION:
As a key member of our sales and marketing teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients.
- Proactively identifying prospects, analyzing market trends, and developing tailored strategies for revenue growth.
- Promoting services to customers and carriers, negotiating rates, and managing shipments until delivery.
- Conducting inbound and outbound calls with a strong focus on customer service.
- Implementing preventive measures to maintain business profitability and proper margins.
- Handling contract administration.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through various channels, including email, phone calls, and occasional face-to-face meetings.
TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- A college degree or equivalent experience in customer service or sales.
- Background in transportation, logistics, or freight is a plus but not required.
- Experience in Salesforce or a similar CRM is beneficial.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and negotiation skills.
- Ambitious and enthusiastic attitude, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, with experience in G-Suite preferred.
- Mac experience is preferred, or a willingness to learn.
